What is a Florida Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT)?

Florida Licensed Massage Therapists, often referred to LMTS, have met specific licensure requirements to ensure their ability to practice safely.  Massage therapists have completed specialized training of anatomy, physiology, hydotherapy and the basic types of massage.  They have also passed a national examination that tests their massage therapy knowledge and skills.
